On Sunday, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind organized a grand program inviting all non-Muslim girls and women in the event was slated to take place at Shalimar Function Hall near Kashmir Gadda in Karimnagar area of Telangana.
However, following the intervention of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in the matter, Telangana Police refused permission for the event and deployed a large police force at the venue on Sunday to avoid any untoward incident or communal clash.
According to reports, the members of the organization wanted all non-Muslim women to join together. The organization also made public the invitation letter for the event which went viral on social media.
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) took cognizance of the incident and requested the Karimnagar police to deny permission for the event and take appropriate action against the Islamic organisation. Not only this, if the meeting was held, he also warned of dire consequences.

This act of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has been linked to 'love jihad' by VHP's Gau Raksha wing president Vutukuru Radhakrishna Reddy, who says that Jamaat-e-Islami is trying to implicate Hindu girls under this program. .
"The proposed program hurts the self-respect of Hindus," Reddy said.
Reddy has demanded the police to take strict action against the members of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. During this, he also appealed to all Hindu girls and asked them not to participate in such events at any cost.
