Beirut: Seven people were killed and 15 wounded on Thursday in a Russian airstrike on a Britain-based war monitoring group in the northwestern province of Idlib, Syria's last major rebel stronghold.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said at least four civilians were among those killed in the attacks. They were killed in a stone quarry west of the city of Idlib and a house nearby.
