Saudi says Iran is a major threat to Saudi, Iran denies

 Riyad - Saudi Arabia's intelligence sharing with the United States was first reported by the Wall Street Journal newspaper. In which it warned of an imminent attack from Iran on targets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

However, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani on Wednesday denied posing a threat to Saudi Arabia. Nasser Kanani called reports of Iranian threats against Saudi Arabia in Western media as "false and baseless allegations".

He further said that it was aimed at sabotaging Tehran's relations with its neighbours.

Earlier, Iran accused Saudi Arabia of interfering in its affairs. Hijabi protests have been going on in Iran since mid-September.

The United States responded to reports of Iran's threats against Saudi Arabia, saying it would defend Saudi Arabia and its allies in the Middle East.
