Lahore, November 3 According to sources, Imran Khan has been shot in the leg, while in this attack one of his supporters has died and some people have also been injured.
His aides say the attack was an apparent assassination attempt by his rivals to intercept Imran Khan's anti-government convoy.
Imran Khan, who was removed from the post of Prime Minister in a parliamentary trust vote in April, had been in an anti-government procession in Islamabad for the past six days. Raising the morale of thousands of ardent supporters, Khan was attacked when he was standing on the roof of a container truck.

"It was an apparent assassination attempt. Khan was almost dead but is stable now. He was bleeding profusely," Fawad Chaudhry, spokesman for Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, told Reuters. If the people there had not been able to stop the shooter, then the entire leadership of PTI would have ended.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan is out of danger, he is being treated at a Lahore hospital. Khan's doctor said that initial scans and X-rays showed fragments of a bullet in Khan's leg.
In a video statement, Khan's close aide Asad Umar said Khan believed Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and intelligence officer Major-General Faisal Nasir were behind the attack. But Asad Umar had no evidence to prove this allegation.
Speaking to reporters, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah dismissed Khan's allegations, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also condemned the shootings and ordered an immediate investigation.
