Saudi Arabia's King Salman issued a royal decree appointing Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as Saudi Arabia's new prime minister in a cabinet reshuffle on Tuesday.
According to the decree, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, brother of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, was appointed Defense Minister.
The decree, published by the official Saudi Press Agency, states that cabinet meetings will continue under the king's chairmanship.
