New Delhi, Oct 10 (PTI) The Supreme Court is likely to pronounce its verdict this week on petitions challenging the Karnataka High Court order refusing to lift the ban on hijab in educational institutions before the retirement of Justice Hemant Gupta.
A bench of Justice Gupta and Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia had reserved its verdict on the petitions on September 22 after hearing all the arguments for 10 days.
Those arguments are expected to be heard this week as Justice Gupta, who is heading the bench, is due to retire on October 16.
