Reported by JS Ifthekhar Siasat News: Hyderabad: The teachings of Prophet Muhammad are as valid today as they were 1400 years ago. Indeed the Prophet's teachings of justice and fairness hold hope in times of current conflict marked by oppressive social and economic discrimination.
Earlier the program started by reciting verses of Quran. Then Naat was recited in his praise. Abdul Rafi from Maharashtra enthralled the audience with a motivational poem by Allama Iqbal.
Swami Lakshmi Shankaracharya, the founder of Hindu Muslim Jan Ekta Manch, Kanpur, amazed the audience with his knowledge of Islam and the ultimate messenger of Islam. Citing Quranic verses and hadiths, he described Islam as a religion of peace, love and tolerance. Rasool used to spread Islam not by sword but by his good character, in which he was successful. This is the reason why Islam is still the fastest growing religion today.
He was so kind that he never avenged anything and always forgave even his arch enemies. Unfortunately, Muslims today do not follow the teachings of the Prophet, although Muslims are ready to sacrifice their lives only for the honor of their Prophet.
Referring to the dire situation in the country, Swami Lakshmi Shankaracharya said how anti-social elements are bent on creating differences between Muslims and Hindus. There was a time when people respected their religion and other religions as well. Swami mentioned several incidents from the life of the Prophet to show his exemplary tolerance. Swami Lakshmi Shankaracharya has read the Holy Quran, Hadith and Prophet's biography very well in Hindi language.
