Tehran: While a group of protesters believe that only if they will target the clerics they will realize their mistake, others say that the often violent tendencies target innocent people, and harm our cause.

Although Iran's Mahsa Amini protests have found widespread support in Iranian society, the "turban throwing" trend has proved far more divisive in recent times.

According to a New Report, 336 people have lost their lives so far in the protests triggered by the death of 22-year-old Amini in police custody two months ago.

The protesters have now started a new trend in which they are running the clerics and taking off their turbans, calling it part of the "movement".

However, many protesters have called the trend "immoral", and called for an end to Iran's hijab law and the so-called "moral police".

Videos of this new trend "turban throwing" are becoming increasingly viral on social media, and street protests on the other hand have become somewhat quieter than before.

Before the introduction of "turban throwing", clerics were being criticized in many ways. Iranian media has reported that so far two people have been arrested for throwing turbans. It is a conspiracy of the devils to remove the turban from the heads of clerics.

A political analyst from Tehran said, There are many clerics in Iran who are against the necessity of hijab and have raised their voice against it, for which they have also been arrested. In such a situation, the protesters should not take such action under any provocation."
