In an interview with Khabar Online, the organization's spokesman, Ali Khan Mohammadi, said: "In our constitution, removing the hijab is a crime, and we will not relax clothing laws despite protests. Wearing the hijab is and will be compulsory."
Commenting on the protests in Iran against wearing hijab, Khan Mohammadi said that soon the rules of wearing hijab will be implemented in new ways.
"The enemy is trying to bring down the scarf, which is a symbol [of Sharia law]," he said. "If this happens, it will bring nudity and other bad things into the country.
“The authorities are reconsidering the hijab rule in law and have taken this as a serious matter.
"This is contrary to people's thinking that now there is freedom with regard to the hijab and they can remove the scarf from their heads."
