RIYADH: Saudi Arabia (KSA) Local media reported that during the duration of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, it has been decided to allow Muslim Haya fan card holders to perform Umrah and visit Medina.
Khalid Al-Shammari, assistant director general of the general department of visas at the Kingdom's foreign ministry, said in a statement to the Saudi "Al-Ekhbariya" channel on Friday that the visas would be free and valid. To enter the state during the period from November 11 to December 18 this year.
The statement comes two days after the Saudi government announced facilities for Haya card holders, which include bearing the cost of electronic visas to enter World Cup fans.
Riyadh welcomes all holders of the Haya card, emphasizing that they will allow them to apply for entry visas, only they must comply with certain rules.
Earlier on August 24, 2022, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs allowed Haya card holders to enter the kingdom for a period of 60 days.
