Turkey : Giving information about this news, the Ministry of National Defense said that two Turkish soldiers were killed and wounding two others. in a terrorist attack in northern Iraq.
Giving detailed information, the ministry said that infantry contract private Mustafa Ozturk and Ismail Esmer were killed on Sunday in a sudden firing by PKK militants at a Turkish military base.
The Ministry of National Defense expressed its sympathies to the families of the soldiers, the Turkish Armed Forces and the Turkish people.
The PKK has been listed by Turkey-US and EU as a terrorist organization for more than 35 years. The PKK has so far caused the deaths of more than 40,000 people, including women, children and even newborns, in the ongoing war against Turkey.
