Uttar Pradesh: According to Minister Dharampal Singh, maths and science will also be taught to make madrassa children in Uttar Pradesh as officers instead of cleric. He also said that this proposal is within the ambit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's goals.
The Minority Welfare Minister also said that schools and hospitals would be built by vacating the Waqf Board land, which is currently under illegal occupation.
As per our Prime Minister's vision of 'Qur'an in one hand and laptop in the other' for Madrasa students, for this they will also be taught the subjects taught in the school so that they can join Indian Administrative Service and Provincial Civil.
Instead of becoming a cleric by getting religious education, they will serve the country or become an engineer and a doctor. He told reporters after the departmental review meeting.
