Paris: Amnesty International said at least eight protesters were killed by Iranian security forces in the past 24 hours, as women-led protests continued for the past six weeks.

Amnesty on Thursday condemned the "reckless and illegal use of firearms", saying "Iranian security forces have again opened fire on mourners and protesters and have killed at least eight people."
